BIMtv's Create Buildings Better

In episode 002 we talked about the BIM project planning meetings and in episode 003 we talked about the specific uses for the BIM data in your Building Information Modeling project. This week we look at two AIA contract documents, E202-2008 & E203-2013, that also discuss the planning stages of the BIM project. We'll see how everything we talked about in the previous episodes has also been put into these contract documents.

Welcome to the first episode of BIMtv's; Create Buildings Better, a program dedicated to bringing you information about Building Information Modeling.  The world of BIM has been developing and changing rapidly and I hope that this program will help you stay informed and keep, pace with the changes. 

 

In this introductory episode we will talk about what BIM is and provide a definition for our future discussions.  I'll give a brief introduction to me, Steve Jensen. We'll also take a quick look at how Nvidia's computing power is helping designers to create buildings better.
